Interesting links. Not certain about RED STATE suggesting Cantor is an establishment Republican? The fashion seems to really be silly, if they equate Graham with Cantor - that is the far from Conservative "fashionable nonsense" I am so cynical of these days.
HOWEVER, HERE is the Democratic Partisan JOKE OF ALL TIME - LINK:

Chait reaches deep down, looking like KRUGPRESSION or Obama golfing in a house on fire - crying all is well - trying desperately to portray the opposition badly.

This laughable threat is so desperately weak. No one is going to Impeach Obama, but they will be looking to restore some order - sanity - reason to Washington. The trick is an old smear - as ugly as the claim bodies would be dragged by Trucks if GW won the Presidency.
But Chait should try to realize a little grasp of reality. Of course, Conservative Republicans would not try to Impeach anyone, unless the law was broken. However, the Democratic Partisan liar named Chait seems to not realize the Impeachment was not as bad for Republicans as he wishes. The Clinton Impeachment was indeed ugly, however it hurt all, and it was crushing to Democratic Partisans the very most.
Gore lost an election he should have won, Clinton was utterly revealed to the American Public as a total liar - and they could have Clinton campaign for the tired AL.
But the entire aspect was the beginning of the end for Democratic Partisans hiding in Media Establishments, peddling lies for the Democrats. The USA was confronted by the irrational extent the Partisans controlling much of the Print, TV, Music, Film, etc., would distort reality to aid the corrupt Democratic Party Politicians. They would never recover again from this loss of credibility over the Clinton Malfeasance. It would focus a Nation, even the World, on the fact that the Clintons lied about everything - including Vast Right Wing Conspiracies, Rwandan Genocide, Nationalizing Health Care, peddling Pardons to the likes of Marc Rich, stolen FBI Files, illegal Chinese Campaign Contributions, etc.
The entire folly of the Clinton Negligence was utterly exposed in one big confrontation. Even if the Country has limited memory in the short term, the Impeachment exposed the true extent of the manipulation of the American Public - and the Democratic Partisans in many Media Establishments have never recovered. The NY TIMES even hid the news a sitting President was held in contempt of Court by his own Fed Judicial Appointee, on page 18!
The Democrats can try to believe, can try to convince all others, those who tried to hold the LIARS and Crooks of the 1990's accountable were those who suffered politically. Certainly some were successfully vilified during some admirable efforts. Their attempts to spin the reality may have had some impact at the time, but over the long run, these Democratic Partisans paid dearly for the long term loss of credibility.
No one trusts them anymore, except their own Partisan devotion, and the Clinton Impeachment was one of the final nails in the Coffin. A strange straw that finally broke the back of the Swindle. They would further grow even more desperate and ugly during the following GW Bush Era, trying to slander and demean all. But the Partisans running much of the MSM have lost their grip, and we can mark the Clinton Impeachment as a major element in clarity.
PS: I meant to type, the Democrats couldn't use Bill to campaign at the time of the Goron Campaign for the Presidency. But the Republicans not only won the Presidency after - they grew their Majorities in the House and Senate after the Impeachment, including an history 2002 Midterm with GW's leadership display after 9-11.
Democrats have pushed the idea the Clintons are powerful still, and many polls are less negative to Bill these days. However, Bill Clinton could not remove Jeb Bush, or save Corzine, etc., having little political influence. He could not even defeat an unknown named Obama to give the Democratic Partisan Nomination to his wife, Hillary the 'sniper dodger'.
The entire concept, the Clinton Impeachment was a winner for Democrats is as absurd as the idea the Clinton Presidency was a positive.
Few seem to remember the Clintons treating the threats of Islamic Terrorism as a criminal matter even after the first bombing of the WTC in 1993, nor do they remember the attempt to Socialize the USA via the Nationalizing of the Health Care Industry led by Hillary Rodham behind closed doors.
Recently, Bill Clinton was in Washington Lobbying extensively for Obamacare - he told Democrats if they don't push Obamacare down the Americans throats, they will lose again in the Midterms. The lies continue, and Bill is in deep with the Democratic Partisan mess today - just as he was involved with the Carter Malaise. The Clinton Malfeasance should not be taken lightly by Conservative Pundits, as the damage done to the USA via the Clinton folly is great. Nearly all of the Obama Administration is comprised of Clinton cronies, and they have pushed the same destructive Democratic Partisan policies.
Slick Willy and his Hillary may be a little more sly in the approach, but the Democratic Partisan Disaster is the same. This is a fool who failed to take Osama Bin Laden into custody TWICE.
If Chait wants to embrace this disastrous legacy, including the selling of Pardons to crack cocaine dealers, then we should welcome the utter folly.
